The soldier in Ace in the hole has a goatee which is not allowed in the military for normal soldiers. He could be in a special unit that allows it, But I doubt it.

I thought an Army unit found him, not the Marines. Could be mistaken though.

Based on the other pics and the gloves, knee pads and weapons pictured, I'm guessing these guys are SpecOps soldiers. Whoever posted these pics will probably get in trouble if they're posting pics of some of our most elite. Digital pictures have become the new "war trophy" now. I've seen many, many pics from Iraq that people brought home on digicams. It's likely that this is real.

I find it strange that the soldier would be wearing a highly reflective watch such as the one pictued in 'ace in the hole'. The pictures do look pretty authentic though.
