Are you saying that they should put it towards the renovation of the family's farm? Doesn't sound too bright. If anything, it should be used to fund the Tribunal that's coming for that former dictator.

no, the surrounding area, for the community, what better way to gain support from the most loyal Saddam area in Iraq

why shouldnt the soldiers get the $?

in the US, if a cop found the missing boy/girl, he would get the $. at least in that Mel Gibson movie

Probably because they didn't find Saddam. They were sent to take a house where Saddam was thought to be. The soldiers just did their jobs, they were the group lucky enough to draw the Saddam straw.

They are getting paid to find saddam already but for them I DOUBT that it was money that drives our Armed Forces.
