Sad to see the price for new RAm drop while the old DDR doesn't

Think it just means it's time to upgrade my rig. I wanted to get another gig of DDR 400 RAM but the price on those haven't dropped as much as DDR2 ones.

DDR is definitely more expensive but it's still affordable to do 2GB. You can find 2GB on the FS/T for around $85 or around $105 at Newegg.

I have two extra sets of CORSAIR DDR 400 (PC 3200) ram that I just replaced with a single set of 2GB. If you really just want an extra pair of matched RAM, you can probably find someone like me who is willing ot get rid of it for pretty cheap.

I guess it's like AGP video cards: The demand is smaller, so they make less, which pushes the demand there is up.
