I think you guys are missing the point here. These asshats tried to DROWN a dog because it was too old to FIGHT anymore. They drowned and the dog lived. Justice served, IMHO.

Sounds like the dog fought once more and won. I feel sorry for the father (and the family) who lost his life trying to save his sorry-ass son.

That just makes me mad that people are cruel to animals. I'm not a PETA fan or anything, but WTF would you try to kill your best friend? My dog is currently sitting at my feet, and I could never hurt her.
