Trying to run Raid 0 on my Raptors

Gigabyte GA-7NNXP with on-board SATA

Went into bios and raided them, tried both SATA Raid and Reg raid drivers from gigabyte, SATA raid i get 2 seperate drives to install windows on, and i dont get anything on regular raid.... any ideas? I'd like to get my PC up and running ASAP. 🙂

In the SATA RAID BIOS for my Soyo mobo, I'm able to assign the drives that will make up my RAID 0 array. Then when I start my Win XP install, I F6 to install the SATA controller drivers after which windows installation *sees* my RAID array. From there, I have the OS install process format then install on the partition/drive. Easy as pie😉 J/k.

Good luck in installing your RAID array. It was a b*tch for me in the beginning when I first built my system with the two RAID arrays. (0 & 1). I had to go into the system's BIOS and configure it and the damn Soyo manual is not much of a help:|. But I finally figured it out and now the system is chugging along smoothly:thumbsup:.

Best of luck and RTFM (if it is of any help, that is).
