back around january the socal fry's had the XP1800+ retail/Iwill XP333R retail combo for $229. you would think it'd drop lower than $189, considering it's a bare cpu and prices have gone down a lot since january.
the combo was a good opportunity to grab the retail 1800 cpu for ~$125, which was extremely cheap at that time (not bad for today either). hard to beat fry's combo prices. just look at the adjusted prices on the ticket they print out for you. if you like both pieces, you're lucky. if you like the discounted price only on one piece, have someone return the other piece (say it was a "gift") and have the funds charged back to the credit card.
