ENJOY!

I can only assume that if you got good credit, and not the Amazon card, you can apply the coupon, and sign up for their card, making it even cheaper then this. My credit sucks so I couldn't be sure, anyone that tries it, and it does make it cheap please chime in!

To clarify, as I mis-understood @funboy6942 's post initially.

The "$50 off coupon", is AFAIK a standard Amazon "click to clip this coupon" thing, and DOES NOT require you to sign up for an Amazon CC.

However, looking at the page, if you don't already have an Amazon CC, you can get an ADDITIONAL (in my case, $60) off of the price (after coupon, I think).

Please let funboy and myself know if you get BOTH the coupon (remember to "click"), and the CC application discount, if you go that route. (If you dare, I don't.)

Given the seq. read/write specs, this is a decent deal (2TB QLC M.2 NVMe PCI-E 3.0 x4 SSD) for $199.99 after coupon, regardless if you attempt to do the CC application or not.

Contemplating, as I just sold a PC locally to a friend that had bought his last PC off of me. (I can always make up the losses on volume, right? :p )

This is interesting. The Sabrent Rocket 4TB (PCI-E 3.0, TLC), and the Rocket Q4 4B (PCI-E 4.0, QLC) are both the same price! $749 @ Newegg.

This is interesting, from the aspect of the "premium" of PCI-E 4.0, versus the "premium" of TLC over QLC. In this case, apparently, they cancel each other's premium out, I guess?

Edit: My bad, that is the Rocket Q (not the Rocket) and the Rocket Q4 (PCI-E 4.0 version), for the same price. So, I guess the PCI-E 4.0 premium right now is $0 on those drives. Interesting.

---

Edit: Hey, funboy, they have the Rocket 4.0 1TB for $199 - $40 coupon too.

That is a decent price on the Rocket 4 again. Of course the Rocket 4 Plus should be coming soon.

Hey Larry, thanks, and I did see that, but Im in need of a larger one, then the one here I bought years ago thats a 1tb, so when I can, and hope it will still be on sale, get the one I linked for the time being, till I can get a 4.0 unit, that will then be cheaper because a 5.0 will be out.

I am usually behind the times due to not being able to afford it, unless I happen to have sold something of mine to do without to get it, or someone needs to unload it because they got into my situation and needs it gone asap. But the one I linked should be a TON faster and 2x the size, the the unit I been using for several years now.
