Sabertooth 990FX R2 users, question

Will the chassis fan headers, any of them, control a 3 pin fan via temp through the bios without using the Asus software?
Or is there just a manual speed setting for them?

I want to know if my 3pin case fans will throttle up and down with temperature without the software running in Windows.

If the original 990FX is an indication then it definitely should. I have none of that bloatware installed on mine and it controls 3-pin fans just fine. I just have to set the profiles in the BIOS.

The CPU and CPU_OPT will run at full speed. Other than that you should be fine.
