Anyway, who here's heard of Sabayon Linux?
It's based off of Gentoo and uses Portage, and is allegedly fully compatible with Gentoo. It comes with AIGLX and Beryl, claims to be one of the best gaming distros out there (and comes with a Quake 4 demo), and seems to work pretty well out of the box (on my laptop, in live mode, it gave full video drivers without seperate installation and had working sound, which has been a rarity for me).
It comes with Tor, too, and Fluxbox (though KDE is the default).
The eye candy is pretty as well.
All in all, it looks pretty good. Maybe a good distro for relative linux newbs like me (been using it for somewhat less than a year, mostly Ubuntu/Kubuntu/Xubuntu)
