Saab 900 turbo convertible. 92'

Well i have the opportunity to purchase this car for a good price, and then have it shipped to me from cali. it will cost 800-1300 to ship. on autotrader they seem to be goin for 35-4500 used. does anyone know anything about the vehicle?

SAAB=Lots-o-Money to repair.
If it is a stick expect the tranny to pop out of gears and need to be redone
Turbo=Leaks oil and cost alot to have rebuilt
Saab=You betta have a butt load of cash to spend.
BUT Sabb if you can afford to keep running means alot of fun to drive and are quick.

well, parts can hurt if you don't have a good source. I don't think reliabilty is that horrid, and they're fun. go for it, it's not like its a million dollars.

it will be a "$1" deal for the title, and then just shipping costs.

go for it then, find a parts dealer that has good prices.

check this place out, I buy some parts for my Audi from them. They seem to have pretty decent prices on most things (way better than dealer) but a few things you might be able to find cheaper elsewhere..
