Come on, really? Are they this bad?

Did they really have to sink that low? Yes they did because the performance is really that bad. No it isn’t that bad, it is just priced too high for what it competes against, much too high. For the ‘real benchmarks’, AMD shows the 390 up against a Radeon HD7950 and a GTX 660 Ti, not anything it would be up against for real. The 390X is likewise shown head to head against similarly obsolete cards, the HD7970 and the GTX 670. It does beat both dinosaurs by large margins in an unspecified test with specifics buried in the footnotes dozens of slides later. If there was a Windows 8 driver for a Tseng Labs ET4000, I am pretty sure AMD would have dug one out to round out this ‘fair’ comparison. Worse yet it is saying that Nvidia not just pummels the new 300-series rebrands, they pummel it by being more efficient with a vastly cheaper to produce memory interface. Brilliant own goal there.

lol looks like it. but where is page 2? or do i have to click somewhere to see their benchmark scores? and the fine print, how can see those things?

now that i look at this guy and that kit(something ) guy i feel like i am wasting my time doing a job..
i mean look at the titles...(forbes number 2 most valuable brand) Microsoft has failed!! i can write such sh** too..
i can also rake in a few more clicks with my flawed english!! at the end of the day, it will 'just' be my personal opinion. so many people are excited and eager to get new news about these AMD gpus that they will click on any news article.. that's a very easy journalism!! i thought journalists have to think several times before writing a single word but look at these people!! no facts, no figures, no proof, no benchmarks... wow!!

Not that I care but thinking about it, I think the most logical reason they compare their newer GPUs with 2-3 years old GPUs is because no gamer in their senses will be upgrading their GPU every year but instead 2-4 years later, doesn't it make sense?

well said thumbsup: the worst fiasco was his rant on GTX 980 Ti a day before reviews went up. He apologized later but he could have very well waited a day after reviews to see if his so called sources were right or wrong rather than jumping in and publishing a trash clickbait article.

That seems to me be the case yes.
Many are still using 2 or 3 even 4 generations old cards.
good upgrade for sure.

AMD can only beat nvidia in their dreams.Their is a reason why AMD share are at rock bottom and AMD at near bankruptcy because majority (80%) avoid AMD.
