Playing around with the S95, trying for bokeh in a flower shot. Went loopy with B/W, oversaturation and intentionally blowing out the sky. Let me know what you guys think.

I think it's nice, though there's so much blown out sky that it's a little distracting.

Mostly, I'm trying to see what the S95 can do. I think that a small crop could help this one. I didn't really spend any time setting this up, but I do like the result.

Looks like there is quite a bit of outlining, and the bokeh is not circular. I assume you did not shoot this at f/2?

Shot at f/4. There was a LOT of light, I was worried about clipping the highlights. Of course, that was before I blew them out in lightroom going for high contrast. The bokeh is a hexagram.

I have found myself, more and more, liking b&w with high contrast. I pushed the black and upped the contrast to just under intolerable. I thought the dandelion would lend itself to this.
