I literally have no idea what the OEMs are trying to do this year (well, besides tread water until 20nm/ARMv8). Samsung already made the regular S5 too bulky in order to waterproof it... Now this?
I guess it might make sense if this is the branding they're going with for their metal/"premium"-frame version S5.
