When the hell did a 4.3" screen become "Mini"?

Think of it as a mini version of the S4.

I saw the specs on it this morning, it seems pretty solid. If they priced it at $350-400 outright and gave it away for free with commitments it'd be a great phone for people switching from feature phones.

Nope, I was wrong. Same specs except RAZR M is smaller and has a much bigger battery.

You're forgetting one critical detail.
The Razr M is not a GSM phone.

I'm not sure how you came up with that. It's got better spec than the SGS3 so I think that is fine.

Smaller screen, much lower resolution, slower processor, smaller storage.
