S3 Graphics ProSavageDDR, will it support "overlay"?

I have a compaq 6000z. I am using the onboard memory as my video. I have 1 gig of memory.

I just bought this WinTV-PVR-250 .

It wants to know if my video card supports "overlay"

What is overlay?

Will my video work?????
I do not want to open the package if I need to return it :)

Yes. Basically everything supports overlay these days.

Yes, everything supports overlay, but the quality is very different between cards.
