Should I do it? Right now I have several hundred pictures at about 600K each. While this isn't huge the total amount of these pics come to 500MB. I might need these pics when I'm old and grey to see now nostalgic I was about when I was a teen... and these pictures are awful large. Should I resize them down, or keep them at it's original size and just leave the large filesize alone?

BTW - owners of Canon S200 cameras - do your about 40-60% of your shots come out blurry (kind of blurry)? Or is it just my camera?

s200 needs a lot of light. and in low light u might need to force a lower iso, but then use a tripod or some surface to stablize it for long exposure. gotta use manual mode for that.

and don't resize it all, you only have 2mega pixels.600mb? 600mb is already a pitance. in a few years we'll have terabyte drives at this pace, 600mb will be nothing. just burn it on a cd. if you want to resize for other uses go ahead, but always keep the originals around, kinda like negatives.

I always use the Windows XP 'Automatic Resize' feature. Just right click the photo or a group of photos in explorer, then click 'resize' and choose a size ratio. You have to install the PowerToy first.

If you have Photoshop, you can create an action to batch resize them all. If it's only 500MB, you can just put the originals on 1 CD.
