S1 mp3 flash player really sucks

I had bought S1 mp3 flash player with 512 mb memory few days ago. It worked properly for some days and showed 497 mb free space. But recently i formatted it through Win xp default format programme, and then the problem started. The player started showing only 118mb free memory space what is the problem???? How can i fix it

How did you format it? I think you need to use FAT. If you did, and it's not working, then I guess...return it for a new one, and don't format the new one!

Also, have you tried updating/reinstalling the firmware? Typically that will require a reformat, and should do it right.
