3. You said you have component-in for your tv. S-video is a cable that carries JUST the VIDEO signal as component but on one cable. For reference, Component is the best, then S-video, then coaxial.
4. Just go into any Radioshack or similar electronics store and get an S-VIDEO cable.
5. Obviously as Isaid, S-VIEO only caries video. If you would like to output your sound into your tv, you will need to get audio cables.
6. Most pc's use the minijack(headphone) style jack to output stereo sound. You will need to convert that to hte coaxial calbe that your tv will accept. Coax cables are the red, white and yellow inputs on your tv.
6. Radioshack sells y-adapater that will convert a manijack output to a coax output. It should not cost more than $8.
7. THis will be plugged in in your speaker out jack on the pc ,and on video1 on your tv. Then plugin your s-video to your tv .
