S Video, TV question

I currently have a Dreamcast, and a Hercules Geforce DDR with S Video out that I want to connect to my TV. Currently I have to reach around to the back of the TV and switch which one is plugged into the S Video input when I want to watch a DVD or a DivX from my computer, or play a game on my dreamcast. I could leave the dreamcast on composite input, but that isn't very appealing. Anyone know where I could get a simple A/B input switch for S-Video. Thanks.

My other question is what would be someone's recomendation for a new TV for $300 or at the most $350. I was looking at a 27" Toshiba 27A40 that I found on mysimon.com for like $310. Any other suggestions?

You can buy s-video switches at Radio Shack...I don't remember the price though. I suppose you aren't into home theater crap...but if you are, most newer recievers include built in s-video switching.

however, it is dominated by idiots who think their tiny bose speakers are the best in the world

How did you reach such a conclusion?😕

<< yes home theater is an art!! >>

Ah yes, and an art not fully appreciated until you have your Phillips Pronto fully programmed to control the entire system via macros (one button = system on/off, play DVD, switch to satellite or broadcast, etc). Sweet!

When I want to play Playstation I have to press a single button on the Pronto that changes the TV input, receiver input, and A/V Surround mode. 😀 It sure is tough ...
