S-video to DVI converter?

My S video cable doesn't quite reach my computer from my TV. I hate S-video connectors anyways...pain in the arse to plug them in anywhere. Would be perfect if there was like a 2ft SVIDEO to DVI converter. Otherwise I guess I'll just buy a longer S-video cable...is Monoprice still good?

No such thing as a DVI to S-video cable unless your graphics card was specifically designed with a custom pinout for a adapter that is included with their graphics card. Otherwise, you're SOL.

Impossible due to s-video being analog and DVI being digital. Unless you got a converter, but I'm guessing its a bit more than you would want to pay:

but i just hate s-video so much - Just the slightest vibration and my TV is in black in white. Then I have to jiggle the bastard for about 10 mins before I get color again. Rinse and repeat.

A laptop or computer?

If its a computer why not just use a DVI out etc
