Greetings, i'd like to connect my dvd-rom (via xtasy 6564 s-video out) to an older television w/o s-video. I also would like the option of outputing (sp?), from this same card to a separate monitor, which sits at a 'gaming station'. Are either of these things a. possible? or b. easily done with some sort of adapters? The radio shack drew a blank, i figure i can do much better here. Thanks! :)

Many thanks! This site actually has both. Regarding the second question, yes, that's what i'd like to do. It looks like the same site has this also, it's an s-video to VGA adapter: $81, (ouch).

yeah...that's gonna be tough.

you'd almost be better off getting a video card with 2 outputs that you could "clone" so that the same thing shows up on both monitors...but good luck finding a card with dual outputs that ALSO has really good 3D support!

You can get a monitor splitting cable to hook up two monitors and run the s-video out via RCA to the tv.
