S-video problems w/ hauppauge pvr

I'm trying to run video out from my digital cable box to my hauppauge pvr150. I've got it running into my s-video in on the card and I get no picture. I know the cable works because i've tried to use it on other products to test. Any suggestions?

What application are you using to test the PVR-150's reception? Fire up WinTV2000 (free w/ the card), click Menu, Display, and choose S-Video there. See if you get reception.

I run GBPVR but haven't used anything but the tuner source. I know there you can edit the source and switch it from tuner to s-video as well.
