S-Video Problem on TV

I can display my desktop on my Big screen but when I play a video with winamp, microsoft media player, Power DVD, DivX player or any video player the video does not transfer to the big screen tv....it only shows on my LCD screen. Why would that happen? I have an older ATI Radeon 7500 series and never had that problem before. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
