Whhooo boy.. Where to start, better yet, where to end..?

Here's the story as best I can desribe it..

I've got a GeForce 2 MX400 dual head w/TV out. (3 in 1 Powercolor card) Hooking up 2 monitors is no problem at all, but when trying to use the S-Video out, all I get is black and white output. Also, when playing games on the black and white output, I only get 85-90% of the top left total area of the output, so I'm missing the bottom and right side of the screen no matter which resolution I set it to.....
I've done everything I can see to do, which admittedly isn't much, but I can verify this much.. It isn't the VCR or the TV as I've tried a regular GF2MX with TV out and it worked fine. (Only TV running, not 'Twinview') It's trying to run Twinview (clone mode) with S-Video as the second output that seems to be causing the problem...

As good an overview of my system as I can get:

Windows XP Pro (2600)
Powercolor GeForce 2 MX400 32 meg 3in1 Dual Head
Tried 21.83 and 22.50 nVidia drivers
ATI TV wonder USB capture card
Asus K7V mobo w 4.32 4in1 drivers
SB Live X-Gamer sound

Settings for S-Video out:
NTSC-M
Tried S-Video and Composite Video out
Hooked up to Funai VCR then into Phillps Magnavox 26" TV via S-Video cable w/RCA converter on the VCR end.

Anything else? If I missed something that you may need to know, just ask...

Thanks in advance to anyone who can shed some light on this one...

Have you tried playing arround with the NTSC setting? I don't know what your setting is ment to be as I don't know where you are (though still probably wound't know) but I get a simular effect when I got my card set incorrectly.

Oh yes, I've tried playing around with virtually everything I can see.. (Ended up with some really oddball stuff too.. heeheh)
I'm in the US, so the NTSC-M protocol should be correct... I've even tried PAL with less than glamorous results...
I'm beginning to think this is just a problem with the card itself, as the others I've tried without dual heads work fine...

How about changing resolutions on the desktop?
What res are u running? desktop and tv out?
tv out max I believe is 800x600.
the desktop has to be the same.
what type of 's' cables are u using?
is the composite out ok as far as chroma is concerned?
be sure the cables are seated in all the way.
