Hi all,

I'm try to get my TV to display color.
I've looked all over in the ATi CP.

But, can't find anything to help ...

... anyone know what I'm doing wrong ...?

Might be your S-video region settings. Make sure it's NTSC and not PAL. (or whatever the settings are... haven't used s-video in a while)

Also, make sure your connections are good.

New cable and using M/NTSC already.

M/NTSC is the only option for NTSC on my CP.

Still B&W.

I tried all 3 S-video inputs on my Mitsubishi.

I had the same problem with a cable provided with a video card. I got a better quality cable, and everything worked fine in color after that. Playing with the settings at the time did not help me then.

I don't quite understand the why, but the issue is likely a TV issue actually.

I just got a new TV provider, & the digital boxes would output color just fine, but my TV kept displaying B&W.

Not sure how it decided to work eventually, but it's likely due to the TV not receiving the signal stong enough (at least that's what i can remember the installers saying)...

Check the video input settings on the TV, and make sure they're not set to Composite. If they are, all you will see from an S-video connection is black and white.
