I am attempting to use the s-video out feature on my laptop. Here is what I'm doing. I hit Function + F4, (not F7 like other laptops - I'm sure the button is F4 since there is an external monitor picture on F4). When I hit that button, I see the laptop screen "go away". This is where I would expect to see the image of my desktop on the TV. Yet, I do not see the picture on my TV.
Can anybody explain to me what I should do in the Display Properties, Settings, Advanced so that I can use the s-video function on my laptop?
I can extend windows onto the TV, but I want to be able to Fnctn +F4 it so I can watch DVD's in full-screen mode on my TV.
