S-video is hot-swappable, right?

I want to hook my laptop up to my TV via the s-video out on my laptop (HP ZT3000) and I just want to make sure that I can hook the s-video to my TV while the laptop's on. I'm pretty sure I can do this just fine, but I don't want to mess up my laptop. Thanks.

I've always been under the impression that it was hot swappable. I've never seen any indications to the contrary.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm paranoid about breaking computer stuff so I like to try and find these things out before I just start trying stuff :) Thanks.

I always figured it was as hot-swappable as RCA, since it was designed for home video...
