Never really bothered with S-video before, but finally decided to replace the composite video hook-up with an S-video cable.
The hook-up runs from my television to my DVD player.
Popped in a DVD to test out the hook-up, and the all blue screen that typically shows when the DVD loads had a green tint to it in the bottom left corner of the screen.
Once the DVD started to play, the tinting persisted...although it wasn't as noticeable because the DVD in question was widescreen format...so the green discoloration largely sits in the black border anyway...only a little bit of green radiates into the actual movie image.
Interestingly enough, the green doesn't show up hardly at all in the black border.
What could be causing this...a bad S-video cable perhaps, the settings on either my DVD or TV, or is something dying on me?
The green doesn't show up when watching television, so I assume it has something to do with either my DVD player or the cable.
