OK, so i just logged onto the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. website and d/l'ed and viewed the four trailors they have up, and was absolutely BLOWN-AWAY by what i saw and heard.

Previously i had only heard/read little tid-bits on STALKER, so never really had any real sense or feel for the game. The trailors have changed all that now!!! If you have't yet checked out the trailors, definitely do so now. :D

No release date on this one yet, which i suppose is kinda a good thing

>>> no false hopes nor excitement, that is only dashed on the rocks of PR reality as we've seen over and over again with games that shall remain unnamed :)

Anyways, this game looks MINT! Check out those trailors!

Well, there's no firm date, but in the past couple of days they announced they're delaying it to January-March 2005 so that it doesn't have to compete with Doom 3, Halo 2, etc... this holiday season.

I've been waiting for this game for over a year now. This is the ONLY game I look forward to. Couldn't care less about Doom3 or HL2.

That sucks... I had been waiting for this one along with HL2 :( Of course, Rome Total War is still my most anticipated :)

Don't think ive heard of Rome Total War >>> sounds like an RTS to me.

Im just interested in what kinda hardware STALKER will need.

It looked like a rehased painkiller at first, but after seeing the trailers i was wrong. This game is loaded with new DX9 features that should really make the new cards shine.

Halo2 is ready for pc?
Do u have any link?
Anyway HL2 and ST.A.L.K.E.R appeal more to me than D3 and I highly anticipate them. I'm an outdoor guy ;)

It's being developed in Russia... doesn't give me high hopes for it. I haven't seen any other good games come out of Eastern Europe.

Watched all the trailers and I agree, the game has a very nice premise. I esp. like the idea of an unscripted, freeform single player FPS. "Making it more like multiplayer" sounds like a DAMN good idea.

Soldiers: Heroes of World War 2 is pretty good and unlike so many recent titles it's got coop gameplay! :)

In case you never heard of it the game is in the style of Commandos so if you don't like that style you'll not like this.

Serious Sam was, but it sucked. I'm pretty sure FarCry was done by a German company.

I think Mafia was produced by a Polish company. That game rocked.
