Can't wait.

W00t, wish it was sooner though.

I will be picking this game up, as i loved the original and Clear Sky expands on some of the best parts of the game such as factional warfare.

Hmmm... http://www.stalker-game.com/clearsky/index_en.html says Q1 2008 but they seem to have missed that... ah hem.

I saw just yesterday (maybe on blues news) that it is due in May this year. If they keep to their usual schedule it'll be delayed over and over for another 2 years.

Does anybody remember a game they demo'ed called Venom that eventually turned into something else that was commercially released but went nowhere? Can't think of the name. It started out ok although ran like a turtle thru treacle. After a while the heavy eastern european accents of the characters got so thick that I couldn't understand them at all.

My accent? I don't have one of course! I'm Aussie, oi!

Dang dang dang. I was hoping that it'd come out the same time as the first Stalker (right about now), but guess not. I haven't bought anything for the PC since early December (Crysis). This is a really bad drought... Oh well, got my PS3.

Can't wait for it to be on the Target Clearance shelf for $5 so I can skip it again.

You must want to feel special. /cue girly voice "OMG, I don't think i like this game so i'll never try it and state that i will also never try the expansion!"

I don't like sports games and will never try them (maybe some of the wii ones though) but you don't see me being a attention whore about it.

For people that loved STALKER the book, also check out Russian blockbuster book by Dmitry Glukhovsky "Metro 2033"

Also, there is a game coming out based on that book, check out www.metro-game.ru

I liked the original, and I'm looking forward to this one. In fact, I had a lot more fun playing Stalker than the over-hyped Crysis.

And I'll Roger that........

i never finished stalker SP. i started playing MP, and then people abandoned the MP. shortly after, CoD4 came out. still, an excellent, original game. i'll start the SP over and finish it, then pick up clear sky.

Mod STALKER, then finish SP. Its worth it--much better. I finished it unmodded, then added some mods and it really was a totally different experience. I'm disappointed that we have to wait until August, now, instead of Q1 2008 as originally scheduled--but STALKER was like what, 3 + years late? I'll wait! I'll wait.

Didn't bother with STALKER due to the conflicting reviews, but very interested in the gameplay experience once the mods and patches came out.

Then I heard about Clear Sky.

I am very interested in this release...if it represents a more polished version of the STAKLER experience, I will probably pick it up.
