S.M.A.R.T. Monitor? What do YOU USE?

Does anyone monitor their drives with a windows based S.M.A.R.T. program? I was running a basic one that showed the score, and the temperatures and stuff.

Are there any good freebie programs out there that do this, and do it well? I want to be sure my drives are running in good shape.

I have googled it and found all sorts, but am curious to know which is actually a good one, and not a crappy little program i'll need to uninstall or fill my machine with crap.

Is SpeedFan a good one? I've used it in the past for other stuff.

What is the BEST S.M.A.R.T. monitor these days? And are there any good freebie or opensource ones? I am running windows xp.

There are various others, but Speedfan is the easiest to gather info from IMO.

I'd suggest running manufacturers' diagnostics if you are really worried, but i personally just keep an eye on SMART & then i'll run manufacturers tools if SMART shows things going south.
