whoops sorry for the multi post!

Anyways I am ready to buy a new computer, and I am eagerly awaiting CeBit to hear more on the new P4's. From what I've heard so far, they are suppost to run cooler, and the prescott will be much better (due to more pins or something like that).

So close to CeBit, yet so far.

I am going insane , someone help!

I think this will be either a Bang or a Bust for the next little while. I'm hoping it will be a Bang

Yup, Socket T looks to be great. I just got some early silicon and....it's nice. :D

Intel doesn't have a firm date yet for 915/925X shipments according to the motherboard manufacturers, but they are still hopeful for April. Intel's official line is Q2, but as most know by now they're very conservative, so early in Q2 should come as no surprise.

I am honestly losing it, as I am itching to go buy a s478 p4 right now but I want to hold on so that I can get the new socket standard. It all makes sense to me anyways. The question is can I hold out?

P.S. Can you say how well the new p4's will overclock? That is something I see as beign very important.
