S@H Info on Bandwidth Issue

Found this on the S@H web site.

The article discusses the additional 10Mbit of bandwidth, Retry bug in the Windows client and prompts folks to use SetiQueue!

Bottom line seems to be that it isn?t fixed yet, but they are working on it! It has gotten MUCH better for me!

The interesting part of that article is the "new" Windows client that will be released to fix the reconnect bug.

Could this be a new client that will also increase WU times?

I doubt that this new client will increase work times. Unless they've been working on a new "longer" client for a while, I don't see how they could have gotten it ready this quickly. After all, these guys love to test the crap out of new science and I haven't heard any rumors from beta testers. Most likely this client will just be a bug-fix release.
