S@H help, Just setup new comp. w. Linux. Need info...

I just setup an XP1900+ running Mandrake 9.1 distro.
What is the best client and GUI (if there is one)...where to get and how do I set it up?

quick help appreciated!

DaFinn, go to S@H Berkeley, scroll down about 1/3 of the way, there is a table of all of the CLI versions on SETI, the eighth one in the list is the CLI version for Linux - version 3.08 - i686-pc-linux-gnu:

How it gets set up is another questione entirely as I have very little experience with Linux. Consider this a ^bump!

It is generally regarded that the fastest way is to run the Windows CLI client under WINE

And there's no GUI for Linux that I know of...hell, no one i know uses the GUI for Windows either!

Hi DaFinn,
the fastest client is still the windows one running in wine under linux.
I'm pretty sure the guys that use linux use setidriver also. Someone
that runs linux will be around shortly to confirm or deny this .
from what I heard the GUI is 30 to 50% slower, and I don't know if there's one for Linux.
