Thanks for the stats, Hellburner. :)

Is this a zombie-project? --- no wait, Somewhere in the Rattledagger-posts there was a snippet that they would accept incoming results for a week or so after the downloading of WUs was disabled. So lets go on crunching for BRS all along - get thos WUs dumped in his name - it is not impossible that he may get to 10K!

Thanks! HB! :D

Yehaw, we beat out BBR one last time! :D

I'm going to keep crunching for BRS, in hopes we can get him to 10K before they stop accepting WUs. :D

Good Morning "TeAm Mates"! :sun:

Some of my systems are still running Classic and I won't be able to get to them for a while.

Thanks for the morning coffee, Hellburner. :)

Thanks HB!!!

I wish I had known this was still going.
I deleted all of my SETI@Home stuff.

I run Win98SE on a 1333 T-bird.
When I tried BOINC, even though ZoneAlarm showed activity, the systray info for my 56K dialup appeared that nothing was downloading, yet it seams that I got work.
Then my mouse pointer was so jerky that it made my machine unusable.

Is BOINC a pig or should I try again?

Thanks for working overtime Hellburner :D

Curt, i'm not running BOINC but i haven't heard too many people that are running it complain of the symptoms you describe. Might want to ask in a specific thread of whatever project you're trying to run.

The BOINC-client does a 1-minute benchmark on installation and client-upgrading, and later once every 5 days, or if manually chooses "Commands/Run benchmarks". During this benchmarking the computer can feel unresponsive, but after benchmark finished don't know of any problems...

Well, some of the optimized seti-applications, and Predictor@home and Einstein@home runs on higher priority than they really should so can possibly give you problems...
