Boy, I'm up early on a <Saturday edit out comment made before coffee> holiday to start the smoker up and gt my turkey going, and I'm only 3rd!

At least our stats were #1

Michael

ps - thanks, HB

Excellent production! We gained on both teams directly in front of us and pulled away from those behind. Looks like Matrox had another big member go AWOL.

I've got an extra P3-450 at home for the long weekend. It's mostly parts from my brother's old system that he sold to a guy I work with. I'm running SETI to test it's stability. Yea, that's it. 😉

Thanks Hellburner!

Rob

🙂 Another good day. I like this... 🙂

Question : Why are HB's numbers not equal to FD's numbers ? 😕

Thanks HB and FD ! 🙂

OT but possibly of interest to the SETI crew: Overstock.com has 2Mb Xeon P2 450's for $150US, if there are any vacant Slot2 motherboards waiting for CPU's...

Polo

The numbers differ because they are taken at different times of the day. So the total number done as well as how many were done for the previous day will differ. Not to mention if you take them an hour or two later one day than you normally do you'll be covering 26 hours instead of 24.🙂

Edit: Look at the total wu's we've done. FD posted around 5 hours after HB and we've already done nearly 200 more wu's since HB's post.😀

Yeah, if we did the reports at the same time, then our numbers would be much closer, but since I don't get up (Unless I HAVE to) until 8:00 or later, it's pretty unlikely that I'll be doing the report at 5:30 AM, when Hellburner does his.. 🙂

Lookin' good! 🙂 Thanks for the stats HB!

mechbgon, Xeons don't have the advantage they used to in SETI, since the v3.x clients fit in smaller caches much better. This is just a wild guess, but I think a 2 MB P2-450 Xeon would probably perform similar to a PIII 550E with the v3.0 CLI.

We will soon prove that macs are inferior! 😀

It also looks like oracle is gonna be dust eventually...wonder if they "see" it coming. LOL
