These #'s have a few extra hours attached, and tomorrows will be shy a little. Had to beat my internet gateway machine into submission again, dang 7 year old HD periodically drops a few sectors and sometimes it's something important 😉
 
Yeah, know what you mean. I've just had to transfer the TS Q to another computer. 🙁

And "Mr. Steady" is going to get a name change ... maybe "Mr. Unsteady". 😉

Jez ,about time you binned that 7yrr old HDD!:Q😉 ,I would send you a spare 540Mb HDD I have here but I think the shipping to the US would be a little expensive😉
 
It's a 3.2 gig Quantum Fireball, about once a year for the past several years some of the "rust" flakes off the platters . This time it just wouldn't register some of the IE DLL's properly after recovery so I eventually just fdisk'ed the damned thing. I've got on old Conner 240 meg HDD that's been going strong for 10 years or so, I did retire the old 80 meg, shoehorning win98 onto the thing just wasn't worth the effort anymore when you can pick up those 540 meg drives for $10 or so.
