We're lower than the 1500 WU per day we were doing, but we are beating the teams right ahead of us. I wonder if Team Nippon got one of their members back?

Michael

ps - thanks, HB

Michael the stats from 10/18/00 were:

14 Team Nippon......................(+10163)......... +1089
15 Team AnandTech..................................... +1295

It appears they took a bigger hit due to the server outage than we did. But there's also the possibility that more of our ques were emptied than their's so they had a little more left over to dump yesterday. It's just a thought.:)

Great... Nippon got their big gun back... Oh well. We'll just have to put out some more. I'm back to SETI 100% so that should be an extra 15-20 WU/day.

Thanks Hellburner!

it's nice that we are gaining on nippon and OS/2 Warp, but is anybody other than me worried about rnoggin. Look at that output! I think we should be worried, maybe not right now, but they will be passing us in enough time if we don't raise our output.

Yes Mogin is closing us ! We have to react : ASSIMILATION and new members to join ! ;) :)

BTW, 1480 is a nice output.

Thanks for the stats HB. :)

if they got a big user back they would of
gone up by a lot more beacuse of the w/u that the
person would have had.

maybe they just got a small new member.

I'm sorry to say it but if rnoggin really wants to they'd blow past us with ease. Their founder guru still has one of his accounts with them (160,289wu's). Another of his other accounts is crunching for sun right now (92,501wu's). Needless to say if he wants to pass us it's done.:( I'm not saying we shouldn't try but just don't be disappointed if they pass us.:)

BTW the sad part is they only have 6 members on their team.:Q

Maybe there should have been some rules about jumping from team to team. Like your account must stay on the team you join for a year before you can go to another team.guru could go over to moggin, with his daily output will bring them up real fast and jump back to sun. Now i know the worlds not fair but...I bowl and when you join a team you have to stay on it. Its not Well tonight ill bowl on my team, and next week ill help out the 20th place team for a couple months and then go back to my 1st place team.no no.

Just another of my ramblings :)
Too much coffee this time:D

Seti originally claimed that your wu's would stay with the team they were crunched on even after you left but that's not the case.

Guru was with Team Lamb Chop, left and started rnoggin (taking both the guru and speedracer accounts with him), then later moved the speedracer account to Sun (which he works for). For the newer members rnoggin was well ahead of us before guru moved the speedracer account and then they fell behind us. I think that was when we took the 17th spot I believe.:)

I think he said one time that there were 10,000 computers at his work and he was running seti on something like 200 of them.:Q

This is what I know of rnoggin I believe it's all accurate. Or at least pretty close. They are without a doubt a very serious threat coming up from behind!!
