Well, that'll shorten our time to pass the Dutch by about a week! 😀

Welcome to the TeAm everybody!! 🙂

hey, cool!

I am new and churning out WU as fast as I can with my new rig. Still can't get it to go faster than about 9 hours. Is that as fast as it should be going? See my rig and tell me.

datalink: Your rig should be doing much better than that (my average on my rig (check my sig) is about 6 hours or so (my average WU time is a lot higher because I did a lot of WUs on my old PII 233@300 before I got this baby)). Check that you're using the CLI (Command Line Interface) version of SETI, and you may want to use a program like SETI Driver to allow you to cache WUs as well. Also, if you get SETI driver, set it to Normal priority.

datalink7, you should be doing at least 5:00 HR. wu times, depending on your fsb and cas settings. Ia'm doing 4:45 per wu with a 1.38 tbird 266.

Yes, it sounds like you're running the screensaver version without it set to go to blank screen mode in under 5 mins. 🙂 Either set it to go blank, or go do what the other people suggested and run the CLI and SETI Driver. : )
