Check out this USER
This guy passed up TeAm Smokeball and about 13 others in the "Top 1000" list yesterday. Now this guy may be perfectly honest and just have some super computer or a massive amount of regular PCs. But it sure looks to me like he has, possibly, as little as one computer putting out around 6+ WUs @ day which he adds to his saved stash of completed WUs and then sends in the whole batch again every other day or two (known as the Duplicate Cheat). Now I have no way of knowing if this guy is actually cheating ... only the S@H ADMINS can determine the facts. So I will only say that his account looks very suspicious ... to avoid casting any slander and making myself libel. 😉

I don't write about this every-time it happens but it happens once or twice every week and it's very aggravating (to say the least).

I think I'm going to write the ADMINS (again) about this and ask if they plan on a final accounting, where they will (at the end of S@H-1) examine (at least the Top 1000) and completely remove the cheaters. That way the final standings of S@H-1 will be reflective of the true, honest crunch. Your thoughts?

You are the first to make mention of my commentary. Prior to your post, with no response from anyone I sort of resigned myself to, "Oh well, nobody really gives a sxxx", so I'll just forget it."

I have mentioned from time to time that I hope the Seti Admins are planning a complete "audit" of the final numbers when S@H-1 ends. There may be some heavy duty reshuffling of individual user's standings and maybe even some "teams". 😉

 
Oh, well I just thought to myself, "Good for him," and waited for a report. I think it's good, scientifically, to report these things, if only to encourage them to audit their data more often. YMMV. Anyhow, thanks for responding. 🙂
