Two days (well, 1 1/2 days) in a row with decent stats. More new members every day. Those pesky aliens will be found!

Michael

ps - thanks for the stats

Thanks HB. Seems the seti stats have been totally screwed up the past few days (nexus9)...this is killing me, LOL. 😀 (need my fix)

Hi, I'm a new member..

My RC5 stats show 1,870 blocks and 5,810 KKeys/s.
Is that good, and how can I improve this score?

Is the best time to "Fetch & Flush" a few minutes
before 23:59 UTC (5:59pm) to get consistant daily
stats?

Thanx

Hi KE4NT and welcome to the Team! 🙂 You can check your theoretical "ideal" output at http://www.teamanandtech.com/, click the "Distributed Computing Speeds" link and fill in the MHz for each type of processor, and press Tab. Your output can be improved by using the Blank Screen screensaver instead of anything CPU-intensive.

By the way, if you configure your client to use proxy.teamanandtech.com, your stats will begin to show up in the Fullstats and Weekstats. Those stats are updated very frequently. 🙂 IMO, the best time to flush is about an hour before midnight UTC, so that the blocks make it from the keyserver to the keymaster in time.

Those big new members jumped the Dutch from #18 up to #15!
(The sad thing is that even with that 23K jump they are still only AVERAGING 1417 WU's per day over the past two weeks.. 😀)

Cisco also lost a big member...

Welcome to the new members ! 😎 😀

I like to watch this kind of stats. 🙂

Thanks HB & FD. 🙂

I didn't know I should set flushes to team proxy. Dooh.
Do I need to enter a port #? I am using seti driver.
Thanks
Daz

if you're using setidriver you don't need to. i think we're getting confused by the rc5 questions in the seti thread.

Dazmite, Orange Kid has a SETI proxy running at orangekid.teamanandtech.com port 5001 if you want to use it. You can get the stats for the proxy at his webpage at orangekid.teamanandtech.com
