Well, when "you're better than all the rest" you gotta step up and take a little abuse once in a while.
Comes with the shirt & hat they give you for signing up.
If we were some "do little, know nuthin, cousin marryin' " type a team then nobody would pick on us right? 😀😀😀
Getting abuse just means we are doing something right and others envy us, they wish they had 10+ million computers running their pet project.
Seti2 will come up soon and there will be lots of change happening, but we will continue to ba a TeAm here.

What's our average WU time for the TeAm? About 8 hours? If it is then we did 57,328 computer hours of crunching for TA Seti just yesterday.
Just on our TeAm. That's over 6.5 years of computer time per day by our TeAm.
As a TeAm we have done 4,324 years of computer time on this project. All other projects wish they had such dedication.
We have reached a top spot in world competition against the most formidable of teams comprised of thousands of members each.

We also have a great TeAm in terms of comraderie & fellowship, we care about each other and we are there to help in time of need.
We enjoy time together here and in other venues, sometimes in person, mostly online.

We have a Great TeAm here in TA Seti. That's because so many top notch, high quality, intelligent and attractive people are it's members! 😀

A lot of the members of the team are also running other projects The Rebel Alliance has 3 other projects beside seti and Robor is a big part of the DF team The feds are in a number of projects, confused and crazzee are running different projects as well. So we help out in more than just Seti.

Truer words were never spoken, we have a fantastic bunch here.

Some ask why TeAm AnandTech is only #5 in seti, or why we are not producing 10,000+ WU's per day.
It's because that is not all that we do, we have spread our members out over many projects.
It's impossible to be the best at any one thing because we can not specialize and focus on only one thing.
That's the nature of our TeAm, like it or not.

There's no reason to 'whip' on any TeAm project because you don't think it's worthwhile.
We are a group of individuals and as such we will all have our own pet projects.

The art of promoting your favorite project while not degrading another needs to be developed, nurtured and respected.
Those who fail at this need to be gently reminded (hopefully by a wise older member or two) that it is needed in order to hold us all together as one Distributed Computing TeAm.
