7th!

Welcome to new members! Thanks to HB!

I'm in the process(again) of sorting out equipment in my basement to begin building an RC5 crack-rack and free up some space. :)

Cisco lost a member with almost 5500 WU's! Ouch!

The CCI story as I understand it:

A while back, one of the people at CCI recompiled the client to process the work much faster. They claimed that it actually still gave the same results as the regular client, but didn't take nearly as long for each work unit. Processing on this client is what gave them so many units in the stats, but once the SETI team got word that CCI was using a 'hacked' client, they put at stop to it and the CCI team has been pretty much stagnant since...

This may or may not be correct, so don't quote me on it, but that's the story I've heard... :)

MGallik has been out of town on company business for the last 5 weeks or so. I believe he'll be back in a few more. He's in for a real surprize, it appears he has about 1000 emails awaiting his return.

If anyone really needs to get in touch with him, he's at mgallik@space.com while on the road. I'm a friend who looks in on his computers while he's in the field. I would think he looks in on the forum, I assume he hasn't posted because he's such a lazy b@stard! Haha

Thanks
