WooHoo! Another great day of production. We picked up 500+ on Linux and 800+ on Canada. Four new members to the team is a nice bonus.

Does anyone remember what the HW France team's production was when they blew by us a while back? I wonder if we could've held them off with our current production.

Thanks Hellburner!

Rob

PS - Go Dolphins! 🙂

"Some news from the HardWare.fr forum's SETI team. Actually, the team has no less than 1441 members and a grand total of 689,569 computed WUs, with a week's rate of 20,000 WUs. The team is ranked 7th in the top club and 13th in the overall ranking."

This was the last front page announcement on 12/28/2000. And they have a permanent link at the bottom the front page. During last year, 9 front page recruiting letters were posted.

BTW : nice stats today. 🙂 😎

Welcome to the new members 🙂

Thanks for the stats HB. 🙂 & FD ? 😉

An archive search reveals that they were doing a little over 2000 wu's/day when they passed us.

At current production rates we will eventually pull in behind them, but they are outproducing us by about 50%

The overall team stats for 1/5/2001 are:

#18 Seti@Netherlands........................(+130329)... +1247
#19 Unisys.........................................(+99116)... +953
#20 Canada.......................................(+61959).... +927
#21 Linux..........................................(+35691).... +1269
#22 Cisco Systems..............................(+307).... +989
#23 Team AnandTech..........................468354.... +1984
#24 O'Grady's Go2Mac.com Team.......(-15292).... +463
#25 Oracle Corporation.......................(-49462).... +551
#26 Team NIPPON.............................(-55237).... +2336
#27 ABIT SETI@home Team...............(-58866).... +388

Cisco managed to just barely hold us off this morning, but they're going down some time this afternoon!! 😀

We have three new members:
Fender, (#13), and Technosnob!

Welcome to the team!!

Also, Raj Singh changed his(?) name to rajs...

Team NIPPON managed a very good day today as well, with the help of a new member who added 1138 WU's.. (They'll still never catch us.. 😉)

edit: Had to fix some wrong numbers... 😱

As for the French team, I've only been tracking them for a few days, but they have averaged just under 2100 WU's per day this week...

We have enough juice to make it into the top 10 club/teams. We are really going to have to increase our production if we want to make a run higher. Team Lamb Chop (Ars Technica) produces a huge amount of WU per day ( Huge production ). I am confident that we can rise to those heights. Once we break into the top ten, we will be gaining even more exposure.

I'm convinced that we're the #1 Team, the stats just haven't caught up yet.

Michael

Those damn 😉 Dutch again. Alien cows 😀 combined.

Perhaps this has been suggested... But can we put a link at the top of this forum linking to the wonderful T\A article? I would imagine that many people "peek into" this forum and have little idea what's going on here and never come back. If it could be placed at the top all the time, like the " new anandtech feature" that is presently up, it would be a big help to new people.

Great output TeAm!

Thanks HB!

I am very late checking this as I've been to a computer show in Dallas and bought a bunch of stuff. Already installed the Cel2-600 at 902 and it is working great! It replaced a Cel300a/450 that will be put to work doing RC5. Got a couple of cheap mobo's, PS, FD, HD, et al. I should have two more boxes running by tomorrow!
