S@H: Cannot connect to server... EDIT: Question about cache's...

Came home to find that my client cannot connect to server to return results, and get new WU's. Is it down or something?

The data server is up and running, but dropping connections

Right now the data server machine is up, but not all clients are able to connect. This is due to our server being swamped with requests, and usually happens right after a server outage, or if there are greater network/database problems we are currently trying to fix. Please try connecting later.

Are you not connecting to a SETIQ?

No, i'm not connecting to a SETIQ, other than the default.? How would I set my CLI client up differently?

Yep. I just opened my SETIDriver and clicked transmit, and it went woosh. The odd thing is, the black DOS window popped up and I had to enter in my e-mail addy again. Weird.

I see your using SETIDriver 🙂 ,select proxy & then enter your choice of a SETIQ from here, in the proxy line with the port number below.Then hit save config ,more details in that link.
Btw don't use TACube its being shut down soon🙁.

Alternativley you could just whack your cache limit up to 1 weeks worth😉

Sweet, thanks Assimilator. I set my cache to 20. Gonna up it some more I suppose. I do about 10-11 WU's per 24hs. What would be a decent cache size? I'm thinking maybe 70-80? BTW, i'm using CADkindaGUY's proxy.
