I've noticed recently that the main TaBoo thread doesn't get much response lately & also we're not sure whose still contributing.

I've done a quick scan of the last page of the main TaBoo thread & have confirmed some of the members are still crunching for us & tagged their name with '(ok)'.LMK if I've got anyone wrong though.
If your listed please could you LMK if your still crunching for us or not.

Rarely. At the moment, I'm on FaD, SB, and crunching SETI for my own account on one machine. I'll be using my own account in the upcoming gauntlet for reasons listed in the gauntlet thread.

I might come back and TABOO sometime, but not unless I feel a really compelling reason to do SETI Classic again, and aside from the gauntlet, I doubt I will.
 
I still enjoy crunching for TABOO.
My daily output is around 20-24, or if I remember to plug in the laptop
when I get home, 29-33.

I stopped crunching on the current project a week back. There is a lack of conquests, & while this one is getting close, SoB is what I'm concentrating on now.

Mine is about 5 to 6 per day ...
my wifes computer is down and the daughter moved out ....

Hey guys, I've gotto send the names for the gauntlet, so who's it gonna be for Taboo. It will run from the 21Feb to 14March.
 
Well the gauntlet sounds like fun, so ill take a bit if a break from TaBoo if thats alright with everyone 🙂
 
If I understand it correctly, you can stay with TABOO <and> contribute to the gaultlet.
I understand that you don't have to change anything about the way you do things today,
just reply to the thread and say that you want your WU's to go towards the TA Gauntlet
TeAm!

Someone please correct me if I am wrong...... 😉

They will pull the stats from the user name that we are currently crunching for. We need to find 2 victims and submit their names so if we have to change users in the middle of the gauntlet, the 2nd user will also be signed up for the gauntlet.

If we cannot find a couple of victims, I might suggest that we crunch for the TABOO TeAm account for the duration of the gauntlet. That way we will be assured of credit in both places.

With the luck we are having finding victums.. Team Taboo maybe the best choice ....

Just my opinion...
 
I'm still crunching for SETI classic but I didn't switch to the new TABOO member after Mark (Assimilator1). I think I just let my 2 clients run for a while under his account until I reloaded my server and then I just set them back up under my own account. It's not that I care about my own production or anything - I just don't have the time to keep up with the switches. Maybe I should just switch to the TABOO TeAm? Lemme know okay?
 
Yeah, you should select one or two victims for the gauntlet. It'll only be for like a month or so. I need the names this week still to make it on to the TeAm. 😀

JWM - Nope, We are trying to keep from getting knock out of the Top 500. We are sitting at ~480 right now. Back before David had his problems we made it as low as 376th place. Just treading water at the moment.
