There is no best setting... it varies from part to part. People can give you a general idea, but there's no one best setting for everyone. Figuring that stuff out on your own is something you have to do when you build your own PC. If you want proven performance, look on the FS/FT forums for combo's.

depends what sort of 1:1 frequency he is looking to run. TCCD for higher, and VX for lower (well 250 ish).. although i would still probs go with the VX with the amazing low latencies for the speed they can do

your oversimplifing things to the *nth degree, don't start changing those settings until you know exactly what your doing.
