S.B. live value won't load properly on win2K pro ?

When I tried to install the sblive software which is an exe. program it loads but will not work once loaded , it worked fine on win98 , have gone to creative's website and dnld the latest win2k drivers for this hardware and still no go , help please.
 
Make absolutely sure you got the Win2K version of the software.
I've got an SB Live and it works great in Win2K. The driver I've got is v. 3509.2.0.0.

 
I had endless problems trying to get SB Live to work on my computer. The supposed updates didn't work and customer support couldn't help me. Not wanting to spend $10 for Creative's CD, I found a mirror site with LiveWare 3.0.

You can check out these links. I trouble downloading from the Italian site, and got the whole set up from a Russian site. It has both 3.0 for 5.1 and non-5.1 SB cards.
