I have a MSI mobo w/a pentium 4(2.4) processor, new power supply 1.5 gigs of ram and 2 ide hd's. I am trying to install a new s-ata(western digital) hard drive using a pci controller. With the pci card by itself, windows won't boot properly, it will hang up in the load screen. With the hard drive plugged into the pci card, it won't find it on either of the two ports during post. Any suggestions?
