I would like to take an image of a partition from a SATA drive but neither Drive Image or Ghost will work. Any suggestions?

The last 2 versions of Ghosts apps will work but sometimes has problems on OC'd Rigs so set yours back and retry...also CasperXP is a great copier/imager.

Curious, why don't they work?

Could very be that it is missing a driver...I am using an Intel 82801EB controller (Asus P4C800 Deluxe) ...

Has anyone been able to use Ghost to take an image of a partition on a SATA drive?

Ghost 2003 will work fine as long as you have SATA dos drivers for your controler card. and in some cases no drivers are required and it works fine.

Another vote for Acronis' TrueImage 7 - makes Ghost look like the Symantec crap it is. 🙂
